Emergency Breech
All midwives must be prepared to safely manage unplanned breech births—just like any other rare birth event. This course equips you with the essential skills to do so.
Regardless of state laws, midwives cannot simply "opt out" of breech births, just as they can't exclude shoulder dystocia from their practice. Babies don’t follow legal guidelines, and when a breech baby gets stuck, you need to know how to help.
This course covers the mechanics of physiologic breech birth and teaches key interventions to recognize and resolve breech dystocia with confidence.
