National Peer Review
with Midwifery Wisdom Collective

Wednesday, July 15 | 8:00–10:30 PM CST | Live via Zoom | $15

Community Peer Review is one of the five required components of CPM recertification, and it shouldn’t be the hardest one to find. If you don’t have a local peer review group, or yours doesn’t meet often enough to get you the hours you need, this session is for you.

This is a 2.5 hour live, facilitated national peer review, open to CPMs, CPM candidates, and students anywhere in the country. It counts as half of the 5 hours of Community Peer Review required for CPM recertification. You’ll walk away with a certificate of completion listing the total cases presented and the total number of CPMs in attendance, ready to go in your recertification file.

How it works

Midwives are invited to present cases for group discussion. You do not need a complication or a bad outcome to bring a case. Normal births are welcome and often teach us just as much as the hard ones. This is a learning space, not a review board. It’s routine, confidential, professional, and non-punitive, in line with NARM’s Community Peer Review standard.

Augustine Colebrook, Founder of Midwifery Wisdom Collective, facilitates.

A few things to know before you register

  • This session is live only. It is not recorded, in order to protect the confidentiality of the cases discussed.

  • Client information shared during case presentation is treated as confidential, consistent with NARM’s peer review guidelines.

  • Students are welcome. If you’d like to present a case, you’ll need to co-present it

  • with your preceptor. If you’d rather just observe and learn, you’re welcome to attend on your own.

  • There is no cap on registration. Invite your community.
