About the Course

Every midwife knows herbs can support pregnancy and birth—but few feel confident enough to actually use them when it matters most.

In this comprehensive course with 4 MEAC-approved CEUs, Plant Medicine Midwife—a self-paced, midwife-led online e-course—you'll learn:

  • How to choose the right herbs based on the story, tissue state, and root cause of each situation

  • Practical techniques for harvesting, preparing, and administering tinctures, infusions, and salves

  • Herbal protocols for blood pressure, preeclampsia, blood sugar, Group B Strep, and postpartum bleeding

  • When to reach for herbs instead of drugs, and how to dose effectively in acute situations

  • How to integrate the Wise Woman tradition into clinical practice with confidence

Most midwives already know which herbs are associated with which ailments—but hesitate to use them. The truth is, herbs only work if you actually use them. And when used early and appropriately, they often prevent the need for pharmaceutical intervention altogether.

Elevated blood pressure, Group B Strep, Postpartum hemorrhage, these situations will show up in your practice—and plant medicine offers safe, effective support that can be used earlier and more confidently than drugs.

This course gives you not just knowledge, but permission—to trust the plants, trust your intuition, and bring herbalism directly to the bedside and birth room.
